Kolkata, June 10 -- : In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the West Bengal government on Tuesday transferred and reassigned 18 IAS officers across several key departments, including Food and Supplies, Transport, Land and Land Reforms, Women and Child Development, Irrigation, Environment and Public Health Engineering.
According to a notification issued by the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, the changes have been made with immediate effect.
Among the prominent changes, Jagdish Prasad Meena (WB:2004), who was serving as Secretary of the Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Department and holding additional charge of Member-Secretary of the Pollution Control Board, has been appointed Secretary of the Food and Su...
