Kolkata, June 19 -- The West Bengal Government on Friday launched a state-wide helpline to enable residents to lodge complaints regarding civic issues.
Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Minister Agnimitra Paul launched the helpline where complaints on various issues, including waterlogging, illegal constructions, and encroachments, can be lodged.
"Residents across the state can call 18003450938 to register their complaints", Paul said.
According to the minister, the helpline will operate from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
"This helpline will serve as a single-point platform for citizens to lodge complaints and offer suggestions on civic issues," Paul said.
