Kolkata, Aug. 22 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Saturday lambasted former chief minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee, accusing her of pursuing divisive politics that no longer worked in the state.
Addressing a programme at Subhas Udyan (Northern Park) in Bhowanipore, Adhikari mocked the TMC's post-election situation, saying its leadership was divided, taking aim at Banerjee and her nephew Abhishek Banerjee.
"The defeated TMC is fragmented. One says, I am from Kalighat, another says, I have gone north; the nephew is abroad, and the aunt's house has been locked," he said.
