Kolkata, June 2 -- From a woman carrying her disabled husband on her back to a widow seeking justice in a 15-year-old murder case, hundreds of people from across West Bengal converged here to place their grievances directly before Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari at a 'Janata Ki Durbar' session.

Since forming the government Chief minister Adhikari has been holding such sessions every Tuesday.

The Chief Minister spent several hours at the BJP's state headquarters in Salt Lake, hearing complaints and requests ranging from welfare benefits and housing assistance to employment issues and pending criminal investigations, assuring many of those present that their concerns would be examined.
