Nagpur, June 4 -- A woman from West Bengal, who had come to attend the annual Urs(religious programme) at a dargah in Maharashtra's Nagpur district, was allegedly gang-raped and subjected to forced religious conversion, officials said on Thursday.

Three persons, including the dargah administrator, have been arrested in connection with the case.

The incident allegedly took place at the 'Amma Ki Dargah' in the old Kamptee area under Parshivni tehsil of Nagpur district.

Police said a case has been registered at Kanhan police station against six persons under various sections related to rape, attempt to murder, forced religious conversion and other offences.
