Chennai, Feb. 22 -- The Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Bay has recurved and lay centred at the same region.
In an update, Met office tonight said morning's Well Marked Low Pressure Area over southwest Bay of Bengal gradually recurvednortheastwards and lay over the same region at 1200 UTC of today.
The associated cyclonic circulation extended upto 5.8 km above mean sea level.
It is very likely to continue to move further northeastwards over southwest Bay of Bengal during the next 36 hrs.
