Chennai, Feb. 23 -- The Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Bay of Bengal has weakened and persisted over the same region, even as Western Ghat districts of Tamil Nadu are likely to get light to moderate rains till March one.
In an update, Met office on Monday said rainfall occurred at isolated places over Tamil Nadu and at a few places over South Tamil Nadu and at isolated places over North Tamil Nadu, while very light rain occurred over Karaikal area and dry weather prevailed over Puducherry.
There was no large change in minimum temperature over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal area during the past 24 hours.
