Nagpur, July 10 -- : Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has emerged as the top performer among coal companies in the Ministry of Coal's Star Rating Assessment for the financial year 2024-25, securing the highest number of 5-Star ratings for its mines.
According to a press release issued by WCL, seven of its mines have been awarded the prestigious 5-Star Rating, highlighting the company's consistent focus on safe, scientific and sustainable mining practices.
