Atul KrishanNew Delhi, May 15 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has claimed that its investigation into the West Bengal Municipality Recruitment Scam revealed that former minister and ex-MLA Sujit Bose allegedly received multiple flats and crores of rupees in cash in exchange for facilitating illegal appointments in various municipalities across the state.
The ED arrested Bose on Thursday and produced him before a Kolkata court, which granted the agency 10 days of custody for further investigation.
