Kolkata, Aug. 10 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari is likely to address the people of the state through All India Radio (AIR) on the eve of Independence Day, a move that could mark a first in the state's political history.
Adhikari himself had made this revelation at a press conference held at Nabanna Sabhaghar recently.
Sources said his address is likely to be broadcast on AIR and Doordarshan after President Droupadi Murmu's customary address to the nation on the eve of August 15.
However, the exact timing of the broadcast or on which band it would be broadcast is still to be announced.
