Kolkata, July 13 -- The three newly-joined members of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) -- Sukhendu Sekhar Roy, Prakash Chik Baraik and Sushmita Dev -- who were nominated by the party for the upcoming Rajya Sabha by-elections from West Bengal, filed their nomination papers today.

The three filed their nomination papers at the State Assembly on Monday, in the presence of Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari and BJP's West Bengal president Samik Bhattacharya, signalling the party leadership's full backing for the trio.
