Wayanad debris slip: one more body recovered from site; death toll rises to seven

Kozhikode, July 10 -- The death toll in the devastating debris collapse at the Kalladi tunnel construction site in Meppadi, Wayanad, has reached seven after rescuers recovered one more body on FridayRescue teams retrieved the body during intensified search operations on Friday from downstream of the Meenakshi River.

The newly recovered victim has been identified as Ragesh Guje, a surveyor from West Bengal. As rescue teams enter the final phase of their operation, they said that only project manager Vikram Rana is still missing.

Meanwhile, the state government has on Friday submitted a report to the High Court on the Kalladi landslide in Wayanad.
