Chennai, June 13 -- Questioning the purpose of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay's visit to the national capital to attend the NITI Aayog meet, DMK president and former CM MK Stalin on Saturday sought to know whether it was for wriggling himself out and safeguard himself from the CBI net in the horrendous Karur stampede case.
The September last Karur stampede during the rally of Vijay had claimed the lives of 41 people and the Supreme Court had transferred the probe to the CBI. The agency had summoned Vijay thrice to Delhi in connection with the investigation.
