New Delhi, June 24 -- Delhi residents are likely to experience warmer and more uncomfortable nights over the coming days, with the minimum temperature expected to touch the 30 degrees Celsius mark over the weekend, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The weather office has forecast a gradual rise of 2-3 deg C in the minimum temperature over the next five days. At Safdarjung, the city's base weather station, the minimum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 26 deg C, around 2 deg C below normal. However, it is expected to steadily climb, settling between 28 deg C and 30 deg C by the weekend.
