Warangal, Aug. 25 -- Customs has transformed from a traditional duty collection agency into a proactive facilitator of international trade by adopting transparent and technology-driven processes, Hyderabad Customs Additional Commissioner P Satish said on Tuesday.
Addressing an export awareness workshop organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in association with the Warangal Chamber of Commerce and Industry here, Satish urged local exporters to make greater use of modern customs procedures to expand their presence in international markets.
