Chennai, Sept. 5 -- Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan on Saturday launched the India Valve Registry to strengthen evidence-based cardiac care and said India should generate its own clinical evidence for better patient care.

Launching the Registry at India Valves 2026, a national academic meeting dedicated to advancing the treatment of valvular and structural heart diseases, here, he said healthcare is a human right and medical advancements must be inclusive and accessible to all and that the national goal of Viksit Bharat must also be a Swasth Bharat.
