Chennai, Aug. 29 -- Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan arrived in Coimbatore on Saturday as part of his 3-day visit to Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Keralam and Lakshadweep.
He was accorded a warm welcome upon his arrival at Coimbatore International Airport.
He was received by Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar; Minister for Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities Welfare, V.Sampath Kumar; and other dignitaries.
Later, Mr Radhakrishnan went to Erode to take part in the Founder's Day celebration of the Kongu Vellalar Institute of Technology Trust (KVITT) at Kongu Engineering College.
