Hyderabad, July 24 -- Hyderabad-based fintech infrastructure startup VIYONA on Friday said it has received approval from the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) to operate as a Customer Operating Unit (COU), enabling it to provide BBPS-enabled bill payment services across multiple categories.
The certification allows the company to facilitate payments for electricity, water, gas, broadband, mobile recharges, DTH subscriptions, insurance premiums, loan EMIs, educational fees and other approved bill payments.
In a release, the company said the approval will also enable banks, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), fintech firms, enterprises and government organisations to integrate BBPS-based bill payment services through VIYONA's platform....
