Mysuru, July 31 -- More than 130 years after a wandering monk found refuge in a modest orphanage in Mysuru, the place where Swami Vivekananda meditated, inspired children and reflected on India's future is set to begin a new chapter.
The historic site on Narayana Shastri Road, where Vivekananda stayed for over two weeks in November 1892, has been transformed into the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Youth Centre - Viveka Memorial, preserving a little-known but significant chapter of the spiritual leader's journey before his famous address at the Parliament of Religions in Chicago.
