Sangareddy, May 19 -- Telangana Labour and Mines Minister G Vivek Venkataswamy on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for road works and various development programmes worth Rs. 8 crore in Bhanur village of Patancheru mandal.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister announced that the second phase of distribution of houses under the Indiramma Indlu scheme will commence from June 2.
He said the Congress government was implementing the vision of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by providing pucca houses to poor families through the housing scheme.
Venkataswamy said 3,500 Indiramma houses had been sanctioned for every constituency and would be allotted only to genuinely deserving beneficiaries.
