Katak, July 14 -- Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra on Tuesday inaugurated the Rs 42-crore Vishwanath Pandit Central Library in Katak, describing the state-of-the-art facility as a landmark institution poised to emerge as Odisha's premier knowledge and research hub.
Spread over three acres, the library is among the most modern public libraries in the state and has been designed to foster reading, research, innovation and lifelong learning. Equipped with world-class facilities, it is expected to cater to students, researchers, academicians and readers from across Odisha, marking a significant milestone in the state's educational and intellectual landscape.
