Raipur, Sept. 17 -- Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday said the work of labourers, artisans and skilled professionals deserves greater recognition, describing skill, creativity and dedication as important drivers of the state's development.
Sai was speaking at a Vishwakarma Jayanti programme at his official residence, where he performed traditional rituals and offered prayers to Bhagwan Vishwakarma, regarded as the deity of craftsmanship, construction and creation. He prayed for the well-being and prosperity of Chhattisgarh.
