Visakhapatnam, July 21 -- The Visakhapatnam district administration has stepped up preparations for the annual Simhachalam Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Giri Pradakshina to be held on July 28, with elaborate arrangements being made for the lakhs of devotees expected to participate.
District Collector M. Abhishek Kishore, accompanied by City Police Commissioner Shankha Brata Bagchi, GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg, Joint Collector Gobbilla Vidhyadhari, APEPDCL CMD Prudhvi Tej, Simhachalam Devasthanam Executive Officer J. Venkata Rao and other officials, on Tuesday inspected the 32-km Giri Pradakshina route from Lumbini Park through Seethammadhara, Madhavadhara, NSTL and Gosala up to Tholi Pavanch.
