Lucknow, June 2 -- Uttar Pradesh has witnessed significant transformation in strengthening rural development and good governance.
Officials here on Tuesday said Gram Secretariats have been established in all 57,694 Gram Panchayats of the state, ensuring that government services are made available to rural residents within their own villages. Alongside this, 24,311 Panchayat Buildings have been constructed over the last 5 years, equipping Panchayats with modern facilities.
With the establishment of Gram Secretariats, villagers no longer have to make repeated visits to tehsil and block headquarters to avail themselves of services such as income, caste and residence certificates, information regarding pension schemes, MGNREGA-related service...
