Shimla, July 31 -- Himachal Pradesh Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh on Friday said more than 70 people joined the Congress as part of the party's organisational expansion campaign in Shimla Rural Assembly constituency, while asserting that the Congress continued to strengthen its base in the region.
Welcoming the new members at the Pradesh Congress Committee headquarters, Rajiv Bhawan, Singh said the Congress was committed to the country's unity and development and was steadily expanding its organisational network across the state.
