Shimla, Aug. 6 -- Himachal Pradesh Public Works (PWD) Minister Vikramaditya Singh on Thursday called on union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and discussed a series of road infrastructure projects, including the proposed Jalori tunnel, National Highway works and funding under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF).
During the meeting, Vikramaditya Singh said Gadkari had accorded in-principle approval for the release of Rs 25.11 crore for improvement and tarring of the Banjar-Aut stretch on National Highway-305 connecting Sainj, Luri, Banjar and Aut.
The PWD Minister also requested the union Minister to expedite the sanction of the proposed Rs 1,775-crore Jalori tunnel project. Gadkari directed officials of ...
