Bengaluru, July 31 -- Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Karnataka government over its handling of the Cauvery water dispute, dismissing the proposed all-party meeting as "too little, too late" and alleging that it was convened only after substantial quantities of water had already been released to Tamil Nadu.
Addressing a BJP-led protest at the Krishna Raja Sagar (KRS) dam in Mandya district, Vijayendra claimed that nearly 3.5 TMC of water had already been released before Tamil Nadu formally sought additional supplies.
