Bengaluru, Aug. 2 -- Karnataka BJP president Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Sunday accused the Congress government of administrative failure over the alleged mismanagement during the police constable recruitment examination at an examination centre in Vijayapura, and demanded immediate action against officials responsible for the lapses.

In a statement, Vijayendra said the confusion over OMR sheets and alleged poor management at the examination centre had caused hardship to thousands of aspirants, many of whom had spent years preparing for the recruitment examination with financial support from their families.
