Bengaluru, June 12 -- Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Friday questioned former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's decision to order a Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into the Dharmasthala issue and demanded that the truth be brought out on who allegedly orchestrated and financed what he described as a "massive campaign" against the famous temple town.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP state headquarters Jagannath Bhavan here, Vijayendra alleged that serious questions remained unanswered over the circumstances leading to the SIT probe and claimed that a larger conspiracy had been hatched to tarnish the image of the revered Dharmasthala Sri Manjunatheshwara temple and hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus.
