Chennai, June 8 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay was 'floored' in a short game by chess wizard R Praggnanandhaa when he was felicitated with Rs 50 lakh award for becoming the first Indian to win the Norway chess title at Oslo two days back.

The Indian GM was felicitated by Vijay at his chamber at the State Secretariat with a cheque for Rs 50 lakh in the presence of his parents.

The Chief Minister suddenly sprang a surprise when he arranged a chess board and tested his own skills on the game of 64 squares. In the short game played on his table, Praggnanandhaa surprised him with a quick win.

Despite losing, VIjay applauded his amazing skills and shook hands with him.
