Chennai, March 4 -- Continuing his tirade against the ruling DMK, dubbing it as a failure model, actor-politician and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagm (TVK) Founder Vijay on Wednesday announced key poll promises that were aimed at easing the burden of farmers including free higher education and waiver of crops loans availed through cooperative banks, besides ensuring protection for Tamil Nadu fishermen and preventing their arrests by the Sri Lankan Navy personnel.
