Chennai, May 27 -- On his maiden visit to Delhi after becoming Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, TVK Founder C Joseph Vijay on Wednesday evening met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and putforth four key issues, including seeking a clarification from the Centre on reciting Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu first in government functions, the contentious Mekedatu dam and fishermen arrest rows, besides urging him to set up DRDO's Centre for Airborne Systems (CABS) laboratory in the state.

The meeting lasted around 30 minutes, which an official release here described it as a courtesy call.
