Bengaluru, March 26 -- Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) journey from a Rs 450 crore investment in 2008 to a franchise now worth more than Rs 16,500 crore has captured headlines across the country as a defining story of cricket and commercial success in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Former owner Vijay Mallya, in a statement shared on social media, congratulated the new ownership consortium on the record-breaking sale and reflected on the extraordinary rise in value of the Bengaluru-based franchise.
