Chennai, May 27 -- In his first ever visit after assuming office as Chief Minister, Tamilaga Vetrri Kazhagam (TVK) Founder-President C Joseph Vijay on Wednesday left for New Delhi where he would meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a host of union Ministers to take up issues pertaining to Tamil Nadu.

Despite being his maiden visit to the National capital in his official capacity as the Chief Minister, two weeks after ushering in the era of first ever coalition dispensation in the State, this was seen as a politically significant visit.
