Chennai, Sept. 14 -- As part of its ambitious target of making Tamil Nadu a USD 1.5 trillion economy by 2036 and to propel Industrial development and economic growth, the state government on Monday inked four MoUs with three British firms and a Swedish company committing over Rs 11,000 crore total investments and offering over 7,000 jobs in the presence of Chief Minister Vijay, who is on an official visit to UK to woo foreign investments.
The MoUs were signed at London with Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd., along with its European and UK-based joint venture companies, committing an investment of Rs 11,000 crore and offering jobs to 7,000 people across sectors including design, engineering, manufacturing, assembling and logistics fa...
