Chennai, May 5 -- With Vijay 'Sarkar' swearing in likely on Thursday, the core team of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has opened up talks with potential 'allies', particularly those parties in the DMK combine, including the Congress, VCK and the Left to make up for the numbers.
Interestingly 'Sarkar' is a 2018 blockbuster of Vijay in which he challenges the system and wins a landslide in an election that heralded his mass hero avatar.
According to TVK sources, the swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Raj Bhavan and the party is awaiting an appointment with the Governor to stake its claim as the single largest party with 108 seats.
