Shimla, March 27 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Friday said the state government has ordered a vigilance probe into alleged irregularities in health-related purchases and the Himcare scheme, asserting that the opposition BJP was "in panic" after the inquiry was initiated.

Intervening during the Budget session of the Assembly, the Chief Minister said Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur had himself flagged the alleged bungling in health purchases, which would now be thoroughly investigated.
