New Delhi, May 5 -- Vietnam President To Lam will arrive in India on Tuesday at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Lam, also the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, will be in India for a three-day visit aimed at injecting fresh momentum into bilateral ties while exploring new avenues of cooperation across multiple sectors.
President To Lam will arrive in Gaya today. This is his first visit to India after being elected President of Vietnam in April. The visit comes as both countries mark a decade of their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
