Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 28 -- Extensive traffic regulations will be enforced in Thiruvananthapuram city on August 30 in connection with the valedictory procession of the Onam Week celebrations and on August 30 and 31 in connection with the visit of the Vice-President.

According to the Thiruvananthapuram City Police, traffic restrictions will come into force from 2 pm on August 30 on the procession route from Kowdiar to East Fort via Vellayambalam, Museum, LMS, Statue, Overbridge, Pazhavangadi, East Fort, Vettimuricha Kotta, Vazhappally, Mithranandapuram and Enchakkal, as well as on major and connecting roads in the city.
