Agartala, March 9 -- Vice President C P Radhakrishnan on Sunday visited the revered Mata Tripureswari temple in Tripura's Udaipur and offered prayers.
During the visit, the Vice President was accompanied by Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu and Tripura Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy.
The dignitaries paid their respects at the historic temple, one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in the region. Speaking to the media after the visit, the Vice President said he prayed for the well-being of the people of the state.
"I prayed for the people of Tripura. They should receive every wealth, health, and happiness," he said.
