Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 10 -- Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) National Spokesperson Vinod Bansal has defended a question included in a Freedom Quiz organised for students in Kerala's Kasaragod district, asking, "Which freedom fighter was given the harshest punishment by the British?"In a post on X, Bansal said the question had apparently not gone down well with leaders of the Communist, Congress and Indian union Muslim League (IUML) parties, alleging that the controversy had exposed their "ideological hypocrisy".
