Dimapur, March 17 -- Newly appointed Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav on Tuesday called the veterans and Veer Naris living symbols of the nation's strength and resilience, emphasising the significance of recognising the sacrifices of the armed forces.

Addressing the ex-servicemen rally at Kisama Heritage Village in Kohima, Yadav noted that their stories of courage and sacrifice serve as a source of inspiration for all citizens. He stressed that it is the collective responsibility of society to honour and support them with dignity.
