New Delhi, May 27 -- Development works are gaining pace across Delhi's village areas, with the government now working towards strengthening civic infrastructure and improving public amenities across the city.
In line with this, on Wednesday the foundation stone for the re-construction of the Ambedkar Chaupal and Harijan Chaupal was laid by PWD Minister Parvesh Verma and Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, in the Khayala Village that falls under Rajouri Garden Assembly constituency.
Notably, once completed, the works will address long-pending demands of local residents regarding better community infrastructure and organised spaces for social and public gatherings, such as weddings and community functions.
