Chennai, Oct. 26 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the multiple POCSO cases against granite baron R.Veeramani, on Monday informed the Madras High Court that the chargesheet in the first FIR would be filed in the next three weeks.
When the writ petitions filed by journo R.Varaahi and advocate M.L.Ravi of Desiya Makkal Sakthi Katchi, seeking to transfer the probe into the sexual assault cases against the tainted bizman to the CBI, came up for hearing before Justice V.Lakshminarayanan, State Public Prosecutor (SPP) R.John Sathyan said the SIT will file the charge sheet soon in the first case case booked against the Gem Granites owner and others.
