Hyderabad, July 12 -- Veterinary university Vice-Chancellors (VCs), policymakers and industry leaders today called for closer academia-industry collaboration to make veterinary education more practical and research demand-driven at the second edition of VETCONVERGENCE 2026 held in Hyderabad.
The two-day conclave, organised by the Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU), Nagpur, with the support of the Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA)-Poultry India, concluded after deliberating on aligning livestock research with industry requirements and entrepreneurship development.
