Kakinada, July 2 -- Jaggampeta MLA Jyothula Nehru on Thursday said that the Vikasit Bharat Guarantee Rozgar Aajeevika Mission (VB -G- Ram- G) scheme was aimed at welfare of the rural laborers and introduced in place of NREGS to assure 125 days work to the laborers in a year .
MLA Nehru along with the Joint Collector Apurva Bharat formally inaugurated the scheme at the district level at Rajapudi village in Jaggampeta Mandal by offering special poojas to the Narasanna nagar tank.
They also released the `VB G RAM G' poster. ` Under the scheme when agricultural works are inadequate, work would be provided to the laborers by creation of Rural basic infrastructure facilities such as laying of Gravel roads and construction of Anganwadi buildings...
