Pune, April 30 -- After leaving the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena and joining the Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction), Vasant More has been entrusted with a major responsibility by Uddhav Thackeray by being appointed as the party's Pune city chief.
Expressing gratitude, More said that he is thankful to Uddhav Thackeray for placing trust in him and giving him this opportunity. He added that the party, under Thackeray's leadership, will function effectively as an opposition force.
More also revealed that Sanjay Raut had called him earlier in the day and urged him to strengthen the party. More assured that he would exceed expectations and work actively to revive the party's momentum.
