Varanasi, June 15 -- : To realize the vision of a clean and beautiful Kashi, the Municipal Corporation is leveraging cutting-edge technology.

Now cameras will be installed on door-to-door garbage collection vehicles in the city. These cameras will digitally monitor not only the garbage collection process, but also street cleanliness, potholes, and other activities.

In a review meeting held on Monday at the Circuit House auditorium in the court, Urban Development Minister A.K. Sharma conducted a thorough review of the city's sanitation, sewerage, and development projects. Municipal Commissioner Himanshu Nagpal stated that this pilot project of installing cameras on vehicles is being initially implemented in five wards.
