Ranchi, April 16 -- A school van driver has been arrested for allegedly molesting a three-year-old girl in Ranchi, police said on Thursday.
The incident occurred in the Kotwali police station area, where the accused, identified as Irfan, was engaged as a driver for a play school vehicle.
City superintendent of police Paras Rana said an FIR was registered based on a complaint by the child's parents, following which the accused was arrested and sent to judicial custody.
According to police, the incident came to light after the child indicated the alleged act to her parents, who then approached the police.
