Patna, June 19 -- union Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today assured support for establishing world-class semiconductor design facilities in Bihar.
Accompanied by Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, Vaishnaw visited the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI)-Patna Incubation Facility.
While addressing the gathering, Vaishnaw said that the rapidly growing global semiconductor industry presents a major opportunity for India, and assured support for establishing world-class semiconductor design facilities in Bihar's leading engineering institutions.
